Motorcycle Florida
Touring Information

You won't find a lot of twisty-turny roads  in Florida. However, you'll find some of the most scenic highways in the Eastern United States. From beautiful pastures filled with huge, old Oak trees, to long flat beachside runs and bridges that skip from island to island there is lots to see and do, and beautiful weather to ride in.  Best time to tour Florida is October through April. Summer is the rainy season with daily thunder showers. The months of May & September are lovebug season. For 3-5 weeks the skys are filled with lovebugs. Wearing a helmet with a face shield is recommended during this time.

It is part of their Tow To Go program that will get you and your motorcycle or car home if you have had too much to drink during the holidays. This is a FREE service available in Florida, Georgia and parts of Tennessee between Thanksgiving and New Years (and some other holidays throughout the year).

If you are on your bike you need to specify you have a motorcycle so they can send a tow truck who can accommodate. Best of all , you don't need to be a AAA Member to take advantage of this program.
