Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year!!!!
Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. We are enjoying the mild Florida winter, while the rest of the country digs out of snow again and again. If all this snow has put a stop to your winter riding, please remember to put some fuel stabilizer, like Sta-
Bil in your tank. You might be snowed in for a couple of months and in that time, the gas in your tank can turn to gummy varnish. Don't take a chance, pick up some stabilizer today, and get it into your tank, so you won't be sorry when the weather clears up and you take your bike out for a little fun.

Did you get a new bike for Christmas? Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki and Triumph just issued recall notices for December 2008. You can check out the article here. http://www.motorcycle.com/news/december-2008-recall-notices-87756.html

Are you tired of searching Ebay, looking for a used motorcycle part, then not being sure if it will work for your bike? I have posted a new article, in the Maintenance & Repair Articles, that tells about a great new resource for finding that part you need. To check it out click on Articles, choose Maintenance & Repair, and it's the first article listed, called "Finding Used Motorcycle Parts". Here is the link http://www.touringdepot.com/articles/article/5472672/115699.htm

PLANNING: This is the best time to start planning your Spring and Summer Tours. Check out my newest creation "Touring by State", I just added the state of Georgia. Northern Georgia has some excellent mountain roads to ride and is home to several motorcycle resorts.

There is a new motorcycle destination resort in Texas. It is called Ultra Hog Heaven. They have cabins with motorcycle garages, a camp store, showers, tent sites and RV spaces. Ultra Hog Heaven is approximately 75 miles south of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, about a 1.5 hour ride depending on your departure point.
You can check out their site here www.ultrahogheaven.com/ultrahogheavenmain.htm
