TOURING DEPOT NEWSLETTER FOR JULY 2009

Summer is here and I hope you all get a chance to hit the road for some great riding. There is nothing better than a sunny day, your bike and a new road to explore. This month I've been busy adding new products to the site and information on new destinations to check out.

PLANNING:

I've been busy gathering information on South Carolina for my Touring By State Section. It is still a work in progress, but I feel there is enough information there to share with everyone.
While working on this state I came across a great multi state ride called the Southern Highroads Trail. It's a multi state loop of great motorcycle roads traveling through South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. It is 364 miles in length and twists and turns it's way around the Blue Ridge Mountain Area. Ron and I hope to check it out on the bike as soon as we can get the time away. I've made a new section called Multi State Tours and you will find a map and information there.

NEW PRODUCTS:

I've been busy this month finding new products to carry. Check them out, I hope they will make your ride more comfortable and convenient.

We have new KD Sunglasses in yellow and blue-blocker amber, and we are pleased to announce that we now have Airfoil Goggles. These goggles come with interchangeable lenses and can be converted to prescription lenses. We also have some new Freedom Foam Padded sunglasses. These are available in black with polarized lenses and tortois with amber polarized lenses. These glasses are great for touring because they protect your eyes from the dirt and wind.
